During a recent interview with Bloomberg Business, director Zack Snyder talked about his past cinematic works, his involvement with the DCEU, and the possibility of make a George Washington movie in the style of his 2006 action film 300. Yes, you read that right. America's first president having his own movie as epic as 300!
The interview took place in Zack Snyder's warehouse office on the Warner
lot in Burbank, California. Apparently, Snyder keeps a large
retractable whiteboard full of Justice League action
sequences (removed for the interview) that would elevate with a click of
a button, workout machines, human skulls surrounding a circular table
where he works, six axes mounted on a wall with Superman, Batman, and
Wonder Woman figures positioned to watch over everything. Among all
these insane and awesome decorations, Snyder keeps a picture of George
Washington Crossing the Delaware.
The director mentioned that he would like to make the George Washington
film similar to his previous film adaptation of Frank Miller's graphic
novel. “We were talking about it,” said Snyder. “The
first thing we asked was, well, how are we going to make it look? I
pointed at this painting. It looks like 300. It’s not that hard.” This
wouldn't be the first time Snyder tackled a historical action film. In
fact, 300 is film adaptation of a Frank Miller comic based on the
ancient Greek Battle of Thermopylae. What do you think? Are you
interested in seeing George Washington film directed by Zack Snyder?
BATMAN V SUPERMAN Fun Fact: Snyder revealed that the
Aston Martin Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) is seen driving in the Batman v
Superman trailers belongs to the director himself.
