Early Word On CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR Likens Elements Of It To An "Emotional Horror Movie"

Some more very positive early word on Marvel'sCaptain America: Civil War here, as reactions from some recent screenings of the movie have popped up online. They're spoiler free, so take a look...

Given everything we've heard so far about Captain America: Civil War, it's probably safe to assume that Marvel is very happy with how the film turned out. So happy, in fact, that the studio has apparently been showing it to a few lucky people - and some of those people have reported back to Birth.Movies.Death.

According to the site, these guys liked the movie... a lot. Word is that it's very much aCaptain America story despite the massive amount of superhero support, and the focus stays firmly on Rogers and Bucky. Spidey and Black Panther are also mentioned in a very positive light. 

We've heard rumors of some pretty devastating stuff going down in the final act of this film, so that "emotional horror movie" stuff would seem to back that up.

Obviously this is all a little vague, and it's probably best not to put too much stock in a second-hand report until we learn more - but it's always hard not to get just a tad excited when such positive early word on a big CBM comes our way.

Captain America: Civil War is scheduled for release on May 6, 2016.
